Northampton Model Aero Club
Northampton Model Aero Club was founded in 1932 and has been in continuous operation ever since.
The objective of the Club is to promote interest, techniques and friendship among people involved in all aspects of Aeromodelling.
The Club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association, the sport’s governing body. Membership of the BMFA provides the necessary insurance cover and is compulsory for all Club members.
As a Club, we take part in several aspects of aeromodelling, including radio-controlled fixed-wing powered aircraft and gliders, slope soaring and indoor flying.
We have access to two flying fields where members may fly their models legally and safely. These are located near to Ravensthorpe and Higham Ferrers.
